Job Description

  • Mobile Plant Fitter covering all types of heavy machinery including; excavators (3 – 50t), screeners, crushers, tele-handlers, shovels, High-Speed & Low-Speed Shredders, dozers and all types of plant used within transfer stations.
  • Maintain, repair and service all equipment as per manufacturer’s specifications.
  • Attend breakdowns on all sites as required at any other designated site.
  • Maintain parts stock or advise manager in relation to any required purchases.
  • Ensure knowledge of technical advances is kept up to date and advise if additional training or equipment is required.
  • Ensure depot workshop is kept clean, tidy and complies with all relative legislation.
  • Make sure work is carried out in a safe manner and equipment and facilities supplied are used in a way to enable this.

Person Specification

  • Full driving licence required.

Job Description

Main Duties

  • Hedge cutting (Must be able to cut hedges to high standard for non-agricultural customers )
  • Digestate fertiliser and slurry spreading/​injection, using Joskin Tanker equipped with application mapping soft where
  • Operating JCB Tele-handelers for materials handling rolls
  • Fertiliser, cropkare and Lime Spreading including variable rate application using KRM, Kuhn spreaders
  • Repair and maintenance to machinery

Additional duties and experience would be beneficial

  • Spraying Experience
  • Hay Making: cutting, tedding and baling then transporting and stacking the bales.
  • Grassland Maintenance
  • Muck and compost spreading
  • Cultivation Knowledge including ploughing

Job Description

    • Daily inspections of vehicles and plant

Person Specification

We are looking for a motivated and ambitious Agricultural Manager to join our team and expand and develop our traditional contracting and grounds care business.

This exciting, diverse and interesting role will involve managing the day to day operations of our contracting business. You would be working with our clients, contractors and fantastic team of staff – excellent communication skills are therefore a must.

This role requires an individual with significant hands on practical experience, gained from time within the field. You would bring knowledge of the latest farming equipment, GPS technologies, excellent IT and financial skills, along with the ability to fully cost all our work packages and activities.

  • HGV Driver covers Skips, RoRo’s, Tippers, RCVs (once appropriate level of training is provided) and should complete all operational duties within guidelines ensuring that wherever possible performance targets are met or exceeded.
