Preparation for Christmas Closure
Shorts Group Ltd will be closing down for the Christmas period from 17:00 Friday 22nd December 2017, returning to work at 7:30 on Tuesday 2nd January 2018.
Customers wishing to have equipment removed from site before the Christmas shut down period must notify their issuing plant hire depot office before 17:00 Friday 15th December, any requests to remove equipment received after this date may not be possible.
Equipment being returned to us by customer’s own transport will need to be back to the issuing depot by 17:00 Thursday 21st December.
All mechanical plant kept on site during the closure period will continue to be charged, excluding the three bank holidays (25th & 26th December 2017 and 1st January 2018) unless we receive written confirmation stating to the contrary by 17:00 Friday 15th December. All non-mechanical plant kept on site during the closure period will continue to be charged, including the bank holidays.
If you require chargeable emergency breakdown cover over the Christmas period you must notify the central plant hire office on firstname.lastname@example.org before 17:00 Friday 15th December.
Safe keeping and insurance of all plant and equipment kept on site during the Christmas shut down is the responsibility of the hirer.
