Shorts Group has launched extra customer service support for its customers. This week, we’ve implemented ‘Live Chat’ on our website: shorts-group.co.uk
Moving with the times, Shorts Group has launched ‘Instant Chat’ as an extra way of providing visitors instant access to the support and sales team. Visitors can get answers in seconds about our skips, delivery schedules and prices, without having to pick up the phone or email.
Shorts have implemented Live Chat for skip hire and will look to roll it out to our Plant Hire division shortly.
Shorts Group take a very modern approach to providing customers and visitors a level of service that is normally seen in the retail world – not traditionally seen in the waste industry, as Mike Banham, General Manager explains:
“We are continuously looking at ways of improving our customers’ journey. We want everyone to have a great experience when they contact us and buy from us. We were one of the first in the industry, locally, to have a ‘Book Online’ service for our skips – which has proven to be a great investment as it means customers can book a skip online at their convenience – at midnight, if they wanted!
“Instant Chat is just another way of giving our customers options. In this digital era, 60 per cent of our website visitors look at our site from their mobile and Instant Chat allows them to contact us quickly from their phones when they’re on the move.”
Instant Chat follows shortly after Shorts Group implemented a Freephone telephone number: 0800 40 80 400 – another dimension for making it easy for customers to contact us.
Instant Chat is available during our office opening hours, but customers can still make contact via Shorts social media, when our offices are closed.
